I could set down solid personal roots, find a peaceful home for my family, and weave
a few grapes into the landscape." - Frederick Furth, Founder and Proprietor |
Tintos de California Quintaesenciales |
| Merlot, Robert Young Estate, 2000, Alexander Valley |
| Description: Rich with aromas and flavors of black cherries, spice,
fresh herbs, cola and vanilla. |
| Background: As a tribute to their father, Robert Young, and as a legacy
to future generations, the Young family established a new Robert Young Estate Winery.
It allows them to produce premier wines that reflect their family commitment to quality
grape growing that has lasted for four generations. Now, as they guide the grapes
from the vine to the bottle, the commitment to "growing wine" comes full
circle. |
| Merlot, Duckhorn Vineyards, 2003, Napa Valley, California |
| Description: The final blend is approachable
in its youth, with a soft, elegant texture and notable finesse, yet possesses the
strength to carry forward for a decade. |
| Background: This Estate Grown Merlot represents over 25 years of experience
with Merlot from the Napa Valley appellation. Defined by our Estate vineyards throughout
the Napa Valley, we enjoy total control over the grape growing process. The vineyard
lots are kept separate until the final months before bottling. Only the lots that
embody the true character of Duckhorn Merlot are considered. |
| Merlot, Sterling Vineyards Three Palms, 2002, Napa Valley, California |
| Description: Intense raspberry and plum
like qualities. |
| Three palms vineyard is located just south of the winery where Selby
Creek spills out of Dutch Henry Canyon. This unique vineyard owes its fine reputation
to unusually rocky soil. |
| Cabernet Sauvignon, Goosecross, 2000, Napa Valley, California |
| Description: Concentrated wine with luscious chocolate, black currant,
blackberry, plum and strawberry. |
| Background: Since 1985, our family has been committed to handcrafting
affordable Napa Valley wines for the novice and connoisseur alike. This Napa Cabernet
is a special release made from our vineyard on Howell Mountain, one of Napa Valley's
most prestigious appellations. Only 1255 cases were made and the 100% Cabernet was
aged 16 months in primarily French Oak. |
| Cabernet Sauvignon, Fisher 'Coach Insignia' 2001, Sonoma County, California |
| Description: Bright blackberry fruit mingled with aromas of cedar and
dark cherry. Smooth entry on the palate, flavors of ripe red fruits mingle with the
earthy tones of tobacco and cedar as they combine with sweet tannins for a lengthy
finish. |
| Background: Founded in 1973 by Fred and Juelle Fisher, Fisher Vineyards
grows and produces wines from both its Napa Valley Estate and Spring Mountain Estate
(Sonoma County). Today, two of Fred and Juelle's three children, Whitney and Robert,
have joined Fisher Vineyards and are leading the way to a second generation of fine
wines. The symbol of the Coach on this bottle is the same stamp used by GM on their
car doors for years (i.e. 'Body by Fisher'). |
| Cabernet Sauvignon, Silver Oak, 2000, Alexander Valley, Napa, California |
| Description: The 2000 Alexander Valley is a classic, rich Cabernet Sauvignon
with a dark ruby-red color and an expressive nose of black cherry, blackberry, violets,
baking spices and soy sauce. It is luscious and full-bodied on the palate and has
an incredibly long finish of ripe berry fruit and vanilla. |
| Background: In the early 1970s, the founders—Ray
Duncan, an entrepreneur, and Justin Meyer, a former winemaker with Christian Brothers,
dared to devote every effort toward the pursuit of a single wine, Cabernet Sauvignon;
not another hard, tannic red wine requiring years of aging to enjoy, but a wine of
fully developed flavors and a velvety soft texture on the day it is released for sale. |
| Petite Syrah, Stags Leap Winery, 2004 Napa Valley, California |
| Description: The sixty year old vineyard produces three different selections
of Petite Syrah clones inter-planted with a multi-ethnic population of other Rhone
varietals including syrah, carignane, Grenache Peloursin and Mourvedre. This diversity
creates a wine that has unique characteristics - a big but soft edged structure that
carries bold fruit flavors to a full-mouthed flavorful finish. |

Champañas / Vinos Espumantes |
| Korbel, NV Brut (Methode Champenoise), Sonoma |
| Established in 1882, Korbel Champagne Cellars has been a part of America's
greatest celebrations for more than 120 years. It has been the exclusive champagne
of the past five presidential inaugurations, and was the champagne of choice for the
Camelot years of the Kennedy administration. |
| Schramsburg, Blanc de Noir, Napa, 2002 (Methode Champenoise) |
| Schramsberg grapes are sourced from 80 cool-climate vineyards located
in four counties. In a century-old tradition rarely practiced today, the winemakers
use barrel fermentation and barrel aging in the creation of their sparkling wines.
After bottling, the wines are hand-stacked and hand-riddled in the historic Diamond
Mountain caves. |
| Piper Sonoma, NV Brut (Methode Champenoise) Sonoma |
| Piper Sonoma is a classic expression of Chardonnay, Pinot
Noir and Pinot Meunier, the traditional grapes of Champagne, hand picked from the
cool vineyards of Northern Sonoma County. French Oak is used in our wine making. Each
year the cuvees are blended with reserve wines aged in large oak foudres. This adds
depth and complexity and insures Piper Sonoma will deliver exceptional quality year
after year. |

| Perfect for sipping for one or sharing for two. This light
style Sparkling wine from Sonoma will quench your thirst and leave you wanting even
